So, how do you choose the right mortgage company? While there are many lenders eager to take your loan application, you’ll want to look for a lender that offers the best rates, loan terms, down payments requirements, closing cost fees and mortgage insurance. 1. What are the zoning regulations and building codes for this land?

When it comes to purchasing land, you will want to know how that property is zoned. These zoning regulations will depend on the land and what it will be used for. If you are wanting to build a house, for example, it is important that the zoning allows for single-family homes.

Government incentives are a great way for real estate investors to increase their return on investments. These incentives usually fall in 3 categories: (i) decreasing your individual tax obligation, (ii) lowering the total project costs, or (iii) lowering the project’s annual operating expenses. Let’s focus on four of these incentives available in most municipalities. (Note: I will focus on the programs available in Augusta, Georgia as this is my home market).

You’ve no doubt been to some of downtown Augusta’s new restaurants or entertainment locations: Edgar’s Above Broad, Miller Theater, Pineapple Ink Tavern, etc. You’ve probably also seen a lot of vacant buildings, just sitting empty with no lights on and making downtown look like a strange hodgepodge of thriving and dying. Dean Ayers’ outlook presented a rosy picture of the national and Georgian economy heading into 2021, but was predicated on two major items: 1) the development and adoption of an effective Covid-19 vaccine by mid-2021, and 2) additional fiscal stimulus passed by

Michael "Signature Mike" Siewert is an established Interior Designer and owner of Signature Interiors. After working with The Beman Group to select the site of his boutique located at 1403 Monte Sano Avenue, We wanted to discuss with him the importance of a good space, and his newest site coming to Fury's Ferry Road in Martinez.
