A native of Augusta, Tom began his Real Estate career in 1990 with Sherman & Hemstreet BH&G under the guidance of his late father Tommy. He started in sales and the transition to General Manager/Associate Broker in 1999 with Sherman & Hemstreet GMAC Real Estate. He served on GMAC Home Services Pacesetters III Broker advisory council from 1998 to 2008. Tom joined Blanchard and Calhoun Real Estate in 2008. He has managed the South Augusta and West Augusta Locations and currently manages their Evans Location. He is always looking for ways to help the company and agents utilize technology in their everyday business to help them become more successful. Tom has volunteered with the Greater Augusta Association of Realtors serving as President in 2006 and on its Board of Directors from 1999-2012. He was chairman of several MLS Committees and also served on the grievance, professional standards and building committees. He was presented with the Realtor of the Year Award in 2002 and the President's Award in 2007. Tom implemented The GAAR Annual President's Scholarship Award in 2006, which gives 8 college bound students $1000 towards their education. He is member of Wesley United Methodist Church and West Lake Country Club. He is married with 3 children.

Tom is always there either in the office or on the phone to speak with me about my listings, sales or just to say "Hi." He is always able to resolve any of my issues quickly and takes the time to hear my concerns. He recognizes our achievements and is always encouraging us to accomplish more. WOW, TH!!! The best thing I can say about TH is that a great salesmen does not make good manager, but HE IS THE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE. Awesome salesman, manager, and friend. I spend more time in his office than I do mine. TH always has an open ear, and sound calming advice. He helps me see the forest for the trees. Anytime I get off track, he puts me right back on, and I am full steam ahead. I encourage any agent to visit anytime they get a chance. GO DAWGS!!
