Requirements
In order to become a licensed real estate Salesperson or Broker, you must meet the following requirements (unless exempted from one or more of the requirements by the Georgia Real Estate Commission).
NOTE: A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC COMPUTER OPERATION AND WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM FUNCTIONS IS A PREREQUISITE.
Salesperson
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the State of Georgia, unless seeking a nonresident license
- Be a high school graduate or holder of a certification of equivalency
- Complete a 75-hour Salesperson Pre-license Course
- Pass a state real estate examination
