Requirements
In order to become a licensed real estate Salesperson or Broker, you must meet the following requirements (unless exempted from one of more of the requirements by the Georgia Real Estate Commission).
NOTE: A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC COMPUTER OPERATION AND WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM FUNCTIONS IS A PREREQUISITE.

Salesperson
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the State of Georgia, unless seeking a nonresident license
- Be a high school graduate or holder of a certification of equivalency
- Complete a 75-hour Salesperson Pre-license Course
- Pass a state real estate examination
Real Estate Education

- 75-Hour Salesperson Pre-License (In-Class or On-Line)
- 60-Hour Broker Pre-License (In-Class or On-Line)
- 25-Hour Post-License (In-Class or On-Line)

Required Hardware Specifications
The computer based and on-line courses may be taken at a location of your choice (home, office or both!).
THEY REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING HARDWARE SPECIFICATIONS:

- Microsoft Windows XP or higher
- PC compatible computer with 450 MHz Intel Pentium II processor (or equivalent) and later. (We do not support the Apple Macintosh platform at this time.)
- 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM
- Super VGA (800x600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor.
- Internet connection (minimum 56 Kbps required, although we highly recommend a high speed connection such as DSL, cable or TI)
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or greater
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0
- Microsoft standard Arial, Times New Roman, Symbol & Windings fonts
- 100 MB available hard drive space (CE Courses)
- 400 MB available hard drive space (Pre-License Courses)
- Printer (for course documentation and Student Affidavit.)
Broker
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be a resident of the State of Georgia, unless seeking a nonresident license
- Be a high school graduate or holder of a certification of equivalency
- Have served actively for three years as a licensed Salesperson
- Complete a 60-hour Broker Pre-license Course
- Pass a state real estate examination
